WALL Street's S&P-500 hit a 22-month high overnight and while the Australian market made slight gains today, it was unable to match yesterday's performance. After hitting a two-month intraday high of 4874.4 points very late in the session, the S&P-ASX 200 dipped again before the final bell. The index closed 0.2% or 9.9 points up to 4863.1, while the All Ordinaries finished 0.22% or 10.8 points higher to 4877.7. AngloGold Ashanti (NYSE: AU) opened at $38.83. So far today, the stock has hit a low of $38.57 and a high of $39.20. AU is now trading at $39.11, up $0.41 (1.06%). The stock hit its 52-Week high of $47.52 in December and set its 52-Week low of $29.36 in April. The stock is trading higher today with rising gold prices. Gold is trading up $3.80 an ounce today to $1,128.00. S&P does not currently have a STARS rating for AU.  

The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing documentation pertaining to an assignment agreement dated March 5, 2010, between Seafield Resources Ltd. and Caribbean Copper and Gold Corp. (CCGC).
